This website called Bragster did a Christmas cash giveaway thing, they threw loads of fivers out of the second floor of a shop on Carnaby Street on Tuesday. I took my friend Marc who got made redundant and now is on the dole :( He managed to grab forty quid!! Winner!! It was pretty fun actually, jumping around like I was on Crystal Maze. Although at one point I was worried the crowd was going to crash through the shop front!!

Things that are going on with me.
Today was, in terms of days, quietly successful.
I had two tutorials in which my imagination and method of working was complemented, and where I was told I was on track for making good work. Always good. I bumped into a lot of people on campus, and that always makes me feel happy and sociable. Two things that I like to be.
Then I got a text from my wonderful Australian darling, Annabel, and she’s in town for the next two days. We’re planned to drink and be merry tonight in Covent Garden :D Mulled wine, overpriced drinks, and well dressed men FTW.
Tomorrow I am (hopefully) going to the darkroom (if I can ever get through to the darkroom office to check that there are no classes taking over all the booths in the B&W darkroom…) and then to Harrods for mine and my sister’s and my mum’s Christmas tradition of Harrods Christmas decs shopping followed by a decadent trip to the Food Halls for some over-indulging.

Friday I get my stitches out! YES! And in the evening I am dolling myself up and hitting good old Brixton for some Christmas drinks and socialising with a few people I have never met and one person I am still getting to know. Should be interesting, if nothing else.

The Florence? It’s a pub I have never been to before, but it’s the location of a Christmas party I’ve been asked along to.
